Certified Aesthetic Nurse Injector

Katie Kirklin, RN, is a highly skilled Certified Aesthetic Nurse Injector with over 15 years of nursing experience and advanced training in aesthetic medicine. After earning her nursing degree, Katie pursued specialized certifications in cosmetic injectables, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and advanced laser modalities, including skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, vascular treatments, and laser hair removal. 

Katie specializes in minimally invasive facial balancing, facial rejuvenation, advanced laser technologies, and medical-grade skincare treatments. She is known for her gentle touch, attention to detail, and personalized approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s unique goals and tailoring treatments to enhance natural beauty while preserving individuality. 

Katie believes in enhancing not altering her patients’ features, helping them look and feel refreshed, confident, and like the best version of themselves.

Outside of the clinic, Katie is a nature enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring new places. She finds balance and inspiration in the outdoors, always chasing the next scenic view, starry night, or off-the-beaten-path adventure.

Utkala Segu

Physicians Assistant, PA-C

Dr. Utkala Segu, PA-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant committed to providing exceptional medical care to her patients. With a strong background in healthcare and a dedication to ongoing learning, Utkala plays a vital role in delivering personalized treatment across various medical specialties.

Utkala ‘s journey in healthcare began with a passion for making a meaningful impact in people’s lives. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland with a bachelors in Science degree, she pursued further education to become a Physician Assistant at the South University of Richmond, VA. 

In her role, Utkala collaborates closely with the Plastic Surgeons and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing care and support. Her comprehensive understanding of medical principles allows her to deliver evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Utkala’s approach to patient care is characterized by empathy, integrity, and a focus on building strong doctor-patient relationships. She takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns, involve them in treatment decisions, and ensure they feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Utkala is dedicated to staying updated on the latest advancements in medicine. She regularly participates in continuing education courses and professional development activities to enhance her skills and knowledge.

Outside of work, Utkala takes great pleasure in journeying across the world with her husband and their newborn son. With an adventurous spirit, she finds joy in photography, hiking, and experiencing the diverse flavors of vegetarian cuisine from various cultures.

Felicia George

Esthetician

Maryland native and well-known Esthetician Felicia George has joined us at Metamorphosis Plastic Surgery. With 25-years of experience, Felicia has helped many create customized skincare regimens that are effective and efficient. 

Throughout her career, Felicia has worked alongside Plastic Surgeons and the aesthetic industry. As she would describe it, her craft combines old and new school techniques allowing her a wide range of knowledge to help your skincare needs. 

As a Professional Esthetician, Felicia takes a holistic approach to skincare, addressing each client’s unique concerns and goals. From anti-aging treatments to acne solutions, she offers a wide range of services tailored to meet the individual needs of her clients. Her expertise extends beyond in-office treatments. She is committed to educating her clients about proper skincare routines and practices, empowering them to take control of their skin health and maintain results between appointments.

When she isn’t working, she enjoys early mornings, coffee, and spending time with her family alongside her dog, Jackson.

Tinika Jennings

Certified Massage Therapist

Tinika Jennings is a dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) specializing in Post-Op Lymphatic Massage and Custom Massage techniques. With over a decade of experience, Tanika is committed to promoting holistic wellness through personalized therapeutic touch.

Graduating from the esteemed Baltimore School of Massage, Tinika received comprehensive training in anatomy and various massage modalities. She has since expanded her expertise with advanced certifications in Post-Op Lymphatic Massage and Custom Massage techniques, enabling her to address a wide range of client needs.

Known for her intuitive touch and nurturing approach, Tinika creates a safe and supportive environment for clients to heal and rejuvenate. Her specialized knowledge in Post-Op Lymphatic Massage allows her to assist clients in their recovery process, reducing swelling and promoting lymphatic drainage for optimal healing.

In addition to her expertise in post-operative care, Tinika excels in Custom Massage techniques, tailoring each session to meet the specific needs and preferences of her clients. Whether it’s relieving chronic pain, reducing stress, or enhancing relaxation, Tinika’s customized approach ensures a therapeutic experience that addresses individual concerns.

Grace Hayes

Practice Manager

Grace is a skilled Practice Manager specializing in the management of plastic surgery and medical spa practices. With a background working in healthcare for over 30 years, Grace brings a wealth of experience and a passion for exceptional patient care to her role.

As the Practice Manager, Grace oversees a variety of administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the practice. From appointment scheduling to maintaining patient records, her meticulous attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the practice run efficiently.

Grace’s dedication to compliance and safety standards ensures that the practice operates in accordance with all healthcare regulations. Her commitment to maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for both patients and staff is evident in her work.

Outside of her managerial responsibilities, she enjoys sewing, quilting, playing shuffle board and spending quality time with her 4 grandchildren.

She is a valuable asset to the practice, playing a key role in ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care and service.

From his early days as a design enthusiast to his current role as a Marketing Director, Shawn’s passion for creativity and innovation has been the driving force behind his success. Specializing in graphic design, branding, and digital marketing, he has worked with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to medium sized corporations, helping them stand out in competitive markets.

Shawn’s journey in the industry began with a passion for art, creativity and design.
